Hey friends!
In case you don't know me, my name is Leslie Hand and I'm a professional photographer here in the Golden Isles with over 16 years of experience behind the camera. I'm also a mother of three active, young boys and, presently, a full-time flight nurse for just under a year. (I work on helicopters transporting very sick patients! ) Medicine and helping people are my gift and photography is my talent I get to do as I choose! Because of my level of passion, I am so honored to be able to do both in this very moment.
But I am approaching a very new season in my life and will no longer be flying after the month of May. Not only do I have a lot to offer photography-wise, it just so happens my schedule will be opening up a good bit starting in June. I desire money and growth, you need/want quality photos and marketing material. So let’s chat… Seriously, get comfortable :)
-I know, I know, this is a very unconventional way of growing business and marketing myself but this is just one of the very unique things about me as a person! (And is one of the things I attribute to my successes in life.) This blog post serves to educate you fully on what working with me entails and how this could benefit your business and you.
First of all, since I’m so willing and able to acquire new clients and have old ones return, my prices are cheaper than normal.
I have spent the last several years as a photographer helping other businesses grow and market their brand(s). Odds are you have been seeing my work for years on billboards, on/in magazines, and all over websites - large and small - and didn't even know it. See for yourself!
While my goal is to sell my service to you in order to make money, I pride myself in making life-long friends and nurturing repeating customers while collaborating with some of the most talented people I've ever known or heard of by giving them exactly what they want!
What do you get out of all of this?
Quality photos that you can use for months or years (depending on your needs, of course). Though I maintain ownership of them, the photos come with (almost) unrestricted use. This means you can use the photos I provide to you however you want - except to sell. (Don't be that person.) And if you play your cards right, that means you can cover almost all areas of your marketing needs after just one photoshoot. (Not sure how to address your marketing needs at this time? No worries, I've got you, friend! Keep reading!)
You also get an honest, reliable photographer who is very experienced in this field. The encounters I have with all of my clients are always professional but laid back so they are comfortable to be themselves, improving the quality of the photos and confidence in their brand.
I also don't offer packages to businesses so making a decision to book me is incredibly easy and very straight-forward. -Don't let that scare you! I don't offer them because I literally cater to your exact needs. There is a one-hour minimum on customized shoots and each hour provides 25 high-quality images with the option to purchase more. That also means you get to choose the photos you end up with. You can purchase additional hours or an extra 15 minutes!
I customize each shoot specifically to my clients.
I learned very early on that a business is NOTHING without the person or people running it. Of course you are meeting community needs with your services or products but that is not what makes you successful and capable of growth - YOU are. Every person is unique and perfect in their own right. The reason I've been able to develop so many relationships within my field is because I value the PEOPLE I work with. Through a series of questions customized for your business, your industry, the local needs and climate, browsing your social media and website, and getting to know you as a person, I am able to combine all of those things to create the perfect images for you in your CURRENT state. So I'm definitely not exaggerating when I say "customized!" Every client is different and every session is different from the previous. I match your style, not the other way around and I’m here for all of it.
Perhaps you already have a social media person. It is so beneficial to have one of those! While they can clear up a lot of time in your schedule, even they need a "boost" sometimes. There are so many flavors of business owners: some use exclusively professional photos for their marketing or Instagram, some use nothing but cellphone photos. My theory is one based on what's realistic at the time. Truth is - especially in today's economy - a mixture of the two will suffice just fine! More specifically, 80% of the photos can be cellphone shots while the rest are crisp, clean, and say EXACTLY what you're trying to say.
Which brings me to my next topic: what if you don't know what you're trying to say to your clients? That's where I come in. Sometimes you just have to delegate some projects to other people to free up some brain space so you can be available elsewhere. - This can be one of those areas. (You are the one who calls the shots so you're kind of a big deal, right?) Bold, beautiful photos are often all that's needed. But let's not get it twisted - there's a LOT of work that is put behind accomplishing this. But this is my area of expertise so it's no sweat for me. I mean, that's exactly what I'm here for!
Finally, what if you don't don't you need photos right now? This is something we can talk about. There would be SO many reasons you don't need any in the current moment, one of them being you JUST had photos done. Let me share a secret with you there's something I like to call a "vault." It's where you build up a collection of things you plan to use over an extended amount of time. Even if you don't THINK you need photos right NOW, you do, I promise. An ad opportunity may come up, or a social media promotional deal and you absolutely don't want to be caught scrambling for the perfect photo when you can have a large collection just WAITING to be used! It’s always best to have more photos than less!
So what do I charge for all of this?
$400.
That’s right! All that customization and expertise for a collection of photos you can use across almost all media platforms until you’re absolutely sick of using them! And then we’ll schedule a new appointment for some fresh photos :)

Are you a smaller business or just starting out and $400 isn’t currently in your budget? That’s also not a problem! For $200 I will come to your retail space and photograph your store/your favorite products to promote or your service with no customization. You still end up with 25 photos and an option to purchase more!
