Feast your eyes on the 2018 South Georgia's Finest charity calendar, featuring our, ahem, finest local cops & firemen. This wall calendar leaves plenty of space to jot down daily activities 12 months out of the year & will have you counting your blessings long after Thanksgiving has passed.
This calendar will be made available until the end of the first 2018 quarter at which point proceeds will be allocated to the volunteers' charities or departments of choice. Funds will be delivered to:
Levi6: "On Thursday, July 20th 2017 we lost Levi Adams in a fatal car accident in Dawson, GA. If you knew Levi, you know that he had a smile bigger than life and an infectious energy. Levi was a positive influence in the lives of many through his time instructing martial arts to children and adults at Premier Martial Arts in Brunswick, Ga. Levi was a Glynn County Police Officer and a member of the Glynn County SWAT Team. In November of 2016, Levi continued serving others when he joined Telluric Group.
Levi left behind his wife, Taylor and three children Landon, Josie, and Braelin. A portion of the funds raised through Levi6 will go towards supporting his family.
Levi6 mission is to also continue Levi's legacy by giving back to the Glynn County Community, through events designed to teach and train others in personal development, self protection and safety.
Levi would constantly tell those he cared for that "I got your 6" (back).Through Levi6, we all can now have Levi's back."
American Red Cross of Southeast & Coastal Georgia: "Contributions to the American Red Cross, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (3) of the Internal Revenue Services Code, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes. The American Red Cross is not a government agency; our programs and services are made possible primarily through the generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations who give voluntary gifts of time and money."
Angiosarcoma Awareness: "Angiosarcoma Awareness, Inc. was founded by Lauren Ryan and Corrie Painter who battled primary angiosarcoma of the breast.
After a dedicated fight, Lauren passed away on June 19, 2014. Lauren accomplished what a government cannot. She found the common goal amongst a commonly afflicted group of folks and created an environment that extracted the best from each of them. This, alone, is astonishing. She was devilishly funny, raised money and got things done. And she raised her babies with her husband Matt. This 'ordinary' person did that! And she did while being assaulted unmercifully by this very disease that she set out to destroy."
