In 2012, Harper Collins purchased a photograph I had taken with a favorite 35mm film camera for the cover of Phillip Margolin's book, "Woman With a Gun" & officially published the book in December 2014. Two years prior, Mr. Margolin had been in my area for a writer's convention & happened to visit Palmer's, a small cafe in the Village of St. Simons Island, where some of my photographs were on display for purchase. The way he tells the story, he was standing over the urinal & spotted the photo. He left without the photograph but returned soon after & purchased it for $35. The entire book was written around my photograph & it remains on his office wall in Portland where he sees it every time he sits down to write.
