The Golden Isles is known for its warmer weather, even through some of the winter season! One of the biggest questions I get is what to wear during a session. Best Locations

The Golden Isles is also known for its marsh, giant live oaks, Spanish moss, & lush greenery. No matter if you choose a landmark spot (like the magnificent Avenue of the Oaks) or a location less common, you won't be disappointed!

Avenue of the Oaks

Located just outside the Lodge at Sea Island on St. Simons Island, this avenue of giant oak trees is surrounded by a golf course & draped generously with large vines & Spanish moss - a perfectly dramatic scene for a first look or casual family photos.

Best times: 9am, 3:30pm

Christ Church

This beautiful church is located at the quiet North End of St. Simons Island. Built in 1884 & loaded with history, settings range from open space to a more cozy trail just across the street!

Best times: 9am, 3pm for the trail & 4pm for the church grounds

The Crane Cottage & Historic Jekyll

A State Park, Jekyll Island is full of both natural beauty & elegance! The Spanish style of the Crane Cottage in the Historic District provides a perfect white backdrop for a pop of color & a courtyard, complete with ivy arches!

Best times: 8:30am & 4:15pm

Historic Brunswick Courthouse

Located just across the street from beautiful marsh off 341 in Brunswick, GA, the Historic Brunswick Courthouse is a hidden gem! Spanish moss & giant oak trees allow for spectacular light in early morning. These grounds are perfect for family sessions & kids!

Best time: 9am & 4pm

Driftwood Beach

A boneyard to ancient pine trees, Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island is as full of drama as it is mystery. This location is one of the most-photographed & for obvious reasons. This breathtaking setting of crooked shadows & endless sea is perfect for couples, maternity, & seniors - as well as family!

Best times: 8:30am & 5pm
